Unit X - Robert Young Florist - Floral Inspiration

As I am starting to look at flower heads as an inspiration. I visited my local florist while I was back home over the Easter Holidays and purchased several different flowers to photograph and draw from. I have been really inspired by the detailing on orchids and how they remind me ink splatters. I have started to recreate this within my mark making and feel its working well using brush inks and will continue to develop my mark making keeping it to a large scale.
